North Texas Giving Day 2026

Help Keep Great Live Music Thriving in North Texas!

As an independent community arts group, the Denton Bach Society relies on the support of neighbors like you to keep our concert seasons going. While we are fortunate to host most of our performances at First Presbyterian Church of Denton for its wonderful acoustics and welcoming space, bringing each concert to life takes significant resources.

Ticket sales only cover a portion of what it takes to perform these timeless choral and instrumental works. This North Texas Giving Day, your donation directly funds professional guest musicians, scores, and operational costs.

Whether you can give $10 or $100}, every gift helps keep high-caliber live music accessible right here in our community.

North Texas Giving Day is Thursday, September 17 (early giving is open now!).

Let the music paint a picture in your mind with our February concert, titled “The Composer’s Paintbrush: Early European Musical Imagery.” Bach was a master of painting the words to music, and we celebrate composers that came before him that were also known for this engaging technique. Monteverdi, Josquin, Morley, Dowland, Lasso, and Schütz are featured as explore the many canvases that music can create. The unbridled joy of Bach leaps forth in music that he used for his Christmas Oratorio and B Minor Mass.
